Cahiers d'ethnomusicologie

Founded in Geneva in 1988 within the framework of the Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie, the Cahiers de musiques traditionelles changed its name to Cahiers d’ethnomusicologie in 2007.  The journal offers readers an annual publication on ethnomusicology.  Each volume is centred on feature articles, to which leading specialists in that particular area contribute.  These articles are always complemented by general interest columns, interviews, profiles and reviews.

As the only French language ethnomusicology journal, the Cahiers d’ethnomusicologie has become an indispensible work tool over the course of the years for all music professionals, as well as interesting reading for a number of world music connoisseurs.
